Payment held safely
When you pay, your money is held by our secure payment processor — not the seller. Funds only move when you confirm the assets have been delivered as described.
7-day review window
After the seller marks the asset as transferred, you have 7 full days to inspect everything and either confirm or open a dispute. Plenty of time to verify access, run the code, check the analytics.
Transfer agreement PDF
Once both sides confirm transfer, we generate a signed PDF transfer agreement — a real legal paper trail you both can keep.
Dispute mediation in 5 business days
File a dispute from your purchase page and our moderators review both sides' evidence within 5 business days. While the dispute is open, the seller cannot receive payment.
Full refund guarantee
If the seller fails to deliver, the assets don't match the listing, or ownership cannot be proven, you get 100% of your money back — including the Buyer Protection fee.
Off-platform = no protection
Buyer Protection only applies when payment goes through ReFounder. We block sharing emails, phone numbers, IBANs and external links in chat to keep you safe. If a seller asks to take the deal off-platform, report them.
When you're eligible for a refund
- ✓ Seller fails to deliver within 7 days of payment.
- ✓ Delivered assets do not match the listing description in a material way.
- ✓ Seller cannot prove ownership or right to transfer the assets.
- ✓ The transfer is incomplete (e.g. domain transferred but source code is missing).
How to file a dispute
- 1. Go to your purchase page (Me → Transactions).
- 2. Click the disputed order and select "Open a dispute".
- 3. Describe the issue and attach evidence (screenshots, emails, transfer logs).
- 4. Funds stay frozen while we mediate. You'll get a decision within 5 business days.
